OUR HISTORY

The Gwandalan Bowling Club Limited is situated on Gamban Rd, Gwandalan, NSW.

Gwandalan Bowling and Recreation Club was formed by the residents of Gwandalan on land leased from Wyong Council in 1960. In 1963, it was renamed Gwandalan Bowling Club. The greens were opened on 8 December 1966 where Mabel Richmond rolled the first Jack and Jim McPherson bowled the first bowl. The Club first traded as a licensed Club on Saturday 14 September 1968.

The community of Gwandalan worked hard to raise funds and build the club. This included holding dances and working bees. The Club now enjoys a membership of 4,500 people.
